We are the Cohns! Married in 1991, we have 2 children, Mackenzie (24) and Ian (19) who are currently creating their own paths in this life.
In 2011 we were living in a large (for us) 4 bedroom colonial in suburban upstate NY when we began planning for our future. We had 5 years until our son would graduate high school and we would no longer be tied to a school district…and so we began our “must have” list for our next venture. We knew we wanted to get away from a neighborhood environment and be more self sustaining, but we also weren’t old enough to retire and needed to be close enough to our day jobs.
Today we live in our (modest ranch) dream home on 6 acres of land with a pond in a town that is 30 minutes from the nearest grocery store. There are highs and lows along our journey but our spirit and sense of humor will makes it that much more fantastic!
